Wuge Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) sets out the manner in which we may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process the data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified either (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access (“Personal Data”) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 26 of 2012) (PDPA), of Singapore, as may be amended from time to time. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully so that you understand the purposes for which we collect, use and disclose your Personal Data.

By interacting with us, submitting information to us or signing up for any promotions or services offered by us, you agree and consent to Glorious Melodies Consultancy Pte. Ltd., its related corporations and affiliates, and their respective successors-in-title as well as our respective representatives (collectively referred to herein as "Wuge", "us", "we" or "our" and each, a “Wuge”) collecting, using, disclosing and sharing amongst themselves your Personal Data, and disclosing such Personal Data to Wuge’s authorised service providers and relevant third parties in the manner and for any of the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy. In addition, this Privacy Policy will also provide you with more information on the bases upon which we may lawfully collect, use and/or disclose your Personal Data without your consent, where permitted by applicable law

We are using third party (Shanghai MobTech company limited, hereinafter “MobTech”) MobTech MobPushSDK services for the notification function. ShareSDK service provide social sharing, third party log in and social sharing, third party log in functions. For smoother functionality, you need to authorize MobTechSDK services and other related services; After authorization, MobTech will collect your related information. Regarding the information, category, uses, Personal Information Protection policy and regulation and exit mechanism, please refer to MobTech website (www.mob.com) and privacy policy (www.mob.com/about/policy)

Please note that capitalised words and expressions shall, unless otherwise specified or the context otherwise requires, have the corresponding meaning assigned to them in the Terms and Conditions of the use of our App at [Insert Link].

1. Your Personal Data

1.1 In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” refers to any data or information about you from which you can be identified either (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access. Examples of such Personal Data which you may provide to us include (depending on the nature of your interaction with us:

(a) Name.

(b) Identity Data, which includes your country of residence, job title, age, marital status and/or gender.

(c) Contact Data, which includes your email address and/or telephone number.

(d) Transaction Data, which includes your credit card details, your billing address, your mailing address, payments and purchases to and from you, and other details of services or content that you have uploaded or purchased from us.

(e) Usage Data, which includes information about your usage and interaction on the App, subscription account details.

(f) Marketing and Communications Data, which includes your interests, feedback, survey responses, preferences in receiving marketing materials from us and your communication preferences, as well as your preferences for particular services or content.

2. Collection of Personal Data

2.1 Generally, Wuge collects your Personal Data in the following ways:

(a) Directly from you. You may give us your Identity, Contact, Profile and Transaction Data when you do any of the following (whether on your own behalf or on behalf of your organisation):

(b) From your authorised representatives. We may also collect your Identity, Contact, Profile and Transaction Data from your authorised representatives. These include persons whom you have authorised and persons who have been validly identified as acting on your behalf pursuant to our security procedures.

(c) When you interact with our App. As you interact with our App, we may automatically collect your Technical Data. We may collect such personal data by using cookies.

(d) Third parties or publicly available sources. We may receive your Personal Data from third parties which are located in various countries. These include:

2.2 You should ensure that all Personal Data submitted to us is complete, accurate, true and correct. Failure on your part to do so may result in our inability to provide you with services you have requested, or processing any requests and applications you may have made to us.

3. Purposes for the Collection, Use and Disclosure of Your Personal Data

3.1 Generally, Wuge collects, uses and discloses your Personal Data for the following purposes:

(a) To register you as a new user.

(b) To verify your identity.

(c) To process your order(s).

(d) To manage your account, including managing payments, fees and charges and collecting and recovering money owed to us.

(e) To manage our relationship with you.

(f) To administer, operate, provide, maintain and protect our business and our App (including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, support, reporting and hosting of data, as well as ensuring that unauthorised users do not access the information on our App).

(g) To deliver relevant content and advertisements to you and measure or understand the effectiveness of the advertising we serve you.

(h) To make suggestions and recommendations to you about Services or Content that may be of interest to you.

(i) To send you relevant information about our events, news announcements or promotions.

(j) To enable you to complete a survey or participate in a promotion, survey, event or other marketing campaign organised by us.

(k) To contact you in relation to all of the above.

(l) To comply with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines or rules, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority.

(m) Any other purposes for which you have provided the information.

(n) Any other incidental business purposes related to or in connection with the above.

3.2 The purposes listed above may continue to apply even in situations where your relationship with us (for example, pursuant to a contract) has been terminated or altered in any way, for a reasonable period thereafter (including, where applicable, a period to enable us to enforce our rights under any contract with you).

3.3 You may withdraw your consent for receiving marketing or promotional materials/communication by contacting us using the contact details below. Once we receive confirmation that you wish to withdraw your consent for marketing or promotional materials/communication, it may take up to 30 calendar days for your withdrawal to be reflected in our systems. Therefore, you may still receive marketing or promotional materials/communication during this period of time. Please note that even if you withdraw your consent for the receipt of marketing or promotional materials, we may still contact you for other purposes in relation to the products and services that you have requested or purchased from Wuge.

3.4 We will only process your Personal Data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose.

3.5 If there is any change in the purposes for which we collect your Personal Data, we will inform you of such change by way of [mode of update]. If you wish to get an explanation as to how the processing for the new purpose is compatible with the original purpose, please contact us at our contact details below. If we need to use your Personal Data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so as well as obtain your consent to the use of your Personal Data for such purpose where we are required to do so by law.

4. Retention of information

4.1 We only retain your Personal Data for as long as is necessary for us to process your Personal Data as described above. However, please be advised that we may retain some of your Personal Data after you cease to use our services, for instance if the data is necessary to meet our legal obligations, such as retaining the information for tax and accounting purposes.

4.2 In some circumstances we may anonymise your Personal Data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

5. Disclosure of Personal Data

5.1 Wuge will take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data against unauthorised disclosure. Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, this Personal Data may be disclosed, for the purposes listed above (where applicable), to the following third parties, whether they are located overseas or in Singapore:

(a) Wuge affliates;

(b) Agents, contractors or third party service providers in connection with services they perform for us.

(c) Government authorities, regulator or law enforcement agency to comply with any laws, regulations or rules imposed.

(d) Any business partner, investor, assignee or transferee (actual or prospective) to facilitate business asset transactions (which may extend to any merger, acquisition or asset sale);

(e) anyone to whom we transfer or may transfer our rights and duties;

(f) banks, credit card companies and their respective service providers;

(g) any other party to whom you authorise us to disclose your Personal Data.

5.2 We do not disclose your Personal Data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use unless we have obtained your express consent to do so and pursuant to executing confidentiality agreements with such unaffiliated third parties. We also require all third parties to respect the security of your Personal Data and to treat it in accordance with the law.

6.1 We use cookies and other related technologies necessary for the functioning of our Services, help us improve our performance and to provide users with extra functioprivate policynalities. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to the memory or hard drive of a visitor’s computer for record-keeping purposes.

6.2 You can delete Wuge cookies from your browser program at any time.

7. Security

Our management and their teams take commercially reasonable precautions to keep all information obtained from our users secure against unauthorised access (e.g. data breach) and use and we periodically review our security measures. Although there is no way that any App can absolutely guarantee the security of your Personal Data, Glorious Melodies Consultancy Pte. Ltd. is committed to employing reasonable security measures, regularly reviewing our security practices (security risk assessments / audits), and providing regular awareness training. You are responsible for keeping your login information and passwords confidential.

8. Making changes to your Personal Data

8.1 You can access and edit any of the personal data that you have provided by logging into your account and updating your preferences or by contacting us through the contact details below.

8.2 Please note that if you withdraw your consent to any or all use of your Personal Data, depending on the nature of your request, Wuge may not be in a position to continue to provide its Services to you or administer any contractual relationship in place, and this may also result in the termination of any agreements with Wuge and your being in breach of your contractual obligations or undertakings, and Wuge’s legal rights and remedies in such event are expressly reserved.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy and related business practices at any time by posting updated text on this page. Please check this page periodically for updates. Your continued use of our App and Services constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of such changes.

10. Governing Law

10.1 This Privacy Policy shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Singapore.
